Dede Not For Sale

Returning from the loan at Arles and Avignon, where he helped the club climb surprisingly, myiconsports.com can exclusively report that, the son of the maestro Abedi Pele may be considered for Olympique Marseille (OM) starting line up this season.

According to our source, OM Boss, Didier Deschamps sees Andre Dede Ayew to be the ideal successor to Hatem Ben Arfa in the offensive, and as a gifted player, will be occupying the two wings.

This is as a result of his splendid performances at the just ended World Cup tournament at South Africa.

He featured in all the group matches during the World Cup tournament but missed the quarter finals with Uruguay which Ghana lost to them.

The 20-year-old attacker was one of the revelations of this summer’s tournament and was even nominated for the ‘Young Player of the Tournament’ award.

Dede Ayew who has a contract with Marseille until 2011 has expressed his desire to stay.

The  skillful player who loves the club believes if he plays as he did for his national team, Black Stars at the World Cup, he can bring something to Marseille.
